The clouds ye so much dread, are big with mercy and shall break in blessings on your head.
I don’t bother trying to hide my anxious nature. I can’t. It is as obvious as my hair color.
Because what to my worrying eyes should appear but terrorist threats and attacks and rising gang-related violence and slaughter of Christians in various lands.
I am pretty much the opposite of a humanist. I don’t believe humankind will ever be able to educate or legislate itself into better behavior because the problem is us. We’re full of original sin, and even those of us washed in the Blood mess up on a fairly regular basis. So I get WHY there is so much misery in the world. I just can’t see what God is doing about it.
But, as our pastor tells the little ones at church—”God is bigger than our brains.” He moves in a mysterious way. I hope you join me at Heartwings today as I reflect more on this.
We (mankind) are un-perfectable on this side of heaven, that’s for sure.
Amen, my dear friend! Such a comfort to have the Holy Spirit interceding for us, and our Savior ever living and pleading for us before the throne. Even my trembling fear is not beyond His grace!
